5 Newsletters you need in your life
Luckily GDPR helped me cut down on my newsletter subscriptions so I would consider the circa 10 I have left to be pretty good. My current favourites below.
The Hustle
The Hustle newsletter perfectly personifies less is more. Each newsletter never covers more than 3 stories but goes into depth about each story in a simple and clear way — often with gifs or illustrations. Topics mainly include anything and everything about businesses from industries that are growing, upcoming IPOs, struggling companies etc. Also to lighten the mood the occasional newsletter ends with the ‘Shower Thoughts’ section which includes statements like ‘Listening to a single instrument in a song is like staring with your ears’ or ‘Second guessing yourself is your brain telling your brain not to listen to your brain’.
Stanford Business Email
A short and sweet newsletter from Standford Business School with links to their latest articles on topics such as innovation, technology and entrepreneurship. Their articles often reference academic papers and current academic research making the content unique and interesting.
