Discussion of the Week: Redefining Friendship

I hate being let down.
The not so funny thing about being let down, is that it hurts so much more as the recipient. Whether that is someone flaking on evening plans you have had in the diary for a while, forgetting an important occasion or cancelling on booking that holiday you were really looking forward to.
I am sure we have all been in similar situations, and if we are honest probably done the same to others too.
This post is all about something I have been thinking about a lot in the last few weeks.
What does it really mean to be someone’s friend? How valuable is friendship? And how can we as millennials be better friends?

To me, the millennial friendships I see around me sit in three different categories:
